Join our team as a Data & Machine Learning Engineer!

The Opportunity:

As a Data & Machine Learning Engineer at Objective Platform, you'll be at the forefront of creating the backbone of our product. You'll work in a dynamic team with Fullstack Engineers and other data professionals to develop and improve our core Holistic Marketing Model, focusing on advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.

The role in a nutshell:

Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement, and improve statistical and machine learning models used by our data scientists
  • Design and implement advanced solutions using Python, SQL, and machine learning techniques
  • Develop and optimise data processing pipelines to handle large-scale datasets efficiently
  • Create new models to broaden the insights we can provide in the marketing world
  • Collaborate with Fullstack Engineers to create a scalable product around these models
  • Uphold the reliability and accuracy of our models
  • Work with the Product Owner and team to devise optimal approaches to solving complex problems

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in data engineering or machine learning
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and their applications in marketing analytics
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
  • Fluent in English

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Bayesian statistics and modelling techniques
  • Experience with marketing analytics, particularly Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM)
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of API development
  • Experience with PyMC3 or other probabilistic programming libraries
  • Background in Econometrics or similar field
  • Understanding of Scrum & JIRA
